Parny | MonSpark Integration Guide

Parny supports direct integration with Monspark alerts. Monspark is a network and system monitoring tool that can create alarms to detect and prevent potential problems. This documentation explains how to redirect alarms created in Monspark to a webhook using Parny.


Parny Settings


  1. Go to the Parny interface.

  2. Navigate to the "Services" section of your organization.

  3. Click on the "New Services" option in the upper right corner.

  4. Enter the relevant service name.

Service Name Usage: The service name here is independent of the structure and can be chosen according to the preferences of the organization.


  1. Select Monspark from the list of integrations.

  2. Click "Add".

  3. After the service is created, the following screen will appear.

  • You can now click on the token section of your service and copy your MonSpark Webhook URL.


MonSpark Configuration


In MonSpark configuration, the system's webhook integration is facilitated through Zapier. This integration automates workflows and reduces manual tasks by enabling automatic custom requests triggered by incoming webhooks to specified URLs. Detailed information on this setup can be found in the subsections titled "Zapier Webhook Configuration" and "MonSpark Webhook Configuration," as described below:


  • Zapier Webhook Configuration: In the Zapier platform, flexible integration is created by combining the "Catch Hook" and "Custom Request" steps.

  • MonSpark Webhook Configuration: Integration is achieved by adding the webhook URL directly within the MonSpark interface.



Zapier Webhook Configuration


  1. After logging into the Zapier interface, click the + Create button located in the top left corner.

  1. Then, click on the "Zaps" option to create your custom Zap flow.

  1. In the next step, click on the Trigger to create your first event.

  1. In this window, select the Webhooks by Zapier option from the available tools.

  1. Select the Catch Hook option as the trigger event and proceed to the "Test" tab by clicking the "Continue" button.

  1. In the "Test" tab, Zapier will provide you with a Webhook URL.


At this step, the webhook URL provided by Zapier will be required under the MonSpark Webhook Configuration section.

  1. After the trigger is created, click on Action to create a new event. Then, similar to the trigger creation process, select the Webhooks by Zapier option from the available tools in the window that appears.

  1. Select the Custom Request option as the action event and proceed to the "Configure" tab by clicking the "Continue" button.

  1. Here, select POST as the Method and enter the Webhook URL obtained from the Parny Portal in the URL field. Next, select True for the "Data Pass-Through?" option and proceed to the "Test" tab by clicking the "Continue" button.

  1. Optionally, you can test the event you created in the "Test" tab.

MonSpark Webhook Configuration


  1. In the MonSpark interface, click on "Notification Settings" from the left-hand menu.

  1. To access the webhook addition menu, navigate to the "Integration" panel from the top menu and then click the + Add button in the Zapier integration section.

  1. In the opened window, enter the Webhook URL provided by Zapier, as specified in step 6 of the Zapier Webhook Configuration guide, into the "Webhook URL" field.

With these settings, after pressing save by following the steps above, you can create a Webhook on MonSpark and your alarms will be forwarded to Parny, allowing you to manage them alongside your other alerts within your organization's Parny interface.
