Parny | Statuscake Integration Guide

Parny supports direct integration with Statuscake alerts. Statuscake is a network and system monitoring tool that can create alarms to detect and prevent potential problems. This documentation explains how to redirect alarms created in Statuscake to a webhook using Parny.

Parny Settings

  1. Go to the Parny interface.

  2. Navigate to the "Services" section of your organization.

  3. Click on the "New Services" option in the upper right corner.

  4. Enter the relevant service name.

Service Name Usage: The service name here is independent of the structure and can be chosen according to the preferences of the organization.

  1. Select Statuscake from the list of integrations.

  2. Click "Add".

  3. After the service is created, the following screen will appear.

  • You can now click on the token section of your service and copy your Statuscake Webhook URL.

Statuscake Configuration

In this section, we will guide you through "Adding Webhook".

Adding Webhook

  1. For any integration with Statuscake, "Contact Group" must be added first. To add a new contact group, go to the Alerting > Contact Group > New Contact Group page from the left menu.

  2. On the page that opens, we can fill in the fields what we need. For integration, we must write down the URL we received from Parny as "Webhook URL" in the webhook section.

  1. After creating the contact group, we can now define an alarm. For the example, "Uptime" alarm will be created.

  1. Go to the Monitoring > Uptime > New Uptime Test page from the left menu.

  2. On the page that opens, we can fill in fields such as "URL", "Check Rate" and "Test Type" according to our needs.

  3. We need to add the newly created contact group in "Contact Groups" tab.

With these settings, your Statuscake alarms will be forwarded to Parny, allowing you to manage them alongside your other alerts within your organization's Parny interface.
