On-Call Management

Parny makes it easy to build and maintain dynamic on-call schedules so that the right person is notified at the right time. Every team can create and manage their own on-call schedules and escalation policies independently. You must create a team before getting started with on-call scheduling.

Create an On-Call Schedule 

 

Step 1: Go to On-Call in the left navigation menu. 

Step 2: Click “New Event” and choose Team Member. 

Step 3: Select the level. 

Step 4: Choose start and end date for the schedule. 

Step 5: Click add button for finish. 



Drag-and-Drop Calendar 

Step 1: Go to On-Call in the left navigation menu. 

Step 2: Click “Parny Shift” to create an on-call list in minutes. 

Step 3: Drag members to the appropriate escalation level. 

Step 4: Enter the number of on-call days. 

Step 5: Click Generate Shift to finalize the on-call schedule, then click Save

Note: You can moderate or edit the list before saving. 


Escalation Policies  


Step 1: Go to On-Call in the left menu then click Policies button. 
Step 2:Click “New Policy” and give it a name. 
Step 3:Add escalation levels – each level represents who will be notified if the previous level does not respond. Example:
Level 1 – Primary on-call; Level 2 – Secondary; Level 3 – Full team 
Step 4: Define wait time between each level (e.g. wait 5 minutes before escalating to the next).
Step 5: Select the notification channels (voice, email, Slack, etc.) for each level. Click Save to activate the policy.
